Was this your first NYE as a married couple?

Happy New Year! First of all, we would like to wish you a prosperous year filled with love and happiness. Second of all, we want to know: Was there anything that surprised you about your first New Year's Eve as a couple? Was it pretty much the same as when you were dating or did things totally change?

Things were mostly the same this was our 4th NYE together and it was great as usual. it was my year to be the DD. it was our first year in our little party group where everyone was married so it was nice to have everyone be with their hubby. hope everyone has a great 2013

2nd as a married couple, 3rd total and each one has been so different! The first NYE we knew each other in 2010, we had met only a month prior and weren't in a position to be together but were very attracted to each other. The very next, we were married & pregnant! Married, 1st then pregnant, fyi. And this past, married with baby.

This is our 10th new year together. It was pretty much the same. Got together with family and close friends. Kissed at midnight and had a little fun.

This was our first NYE as a married couple, but the 5th one we've spent together. The big change for us is this was the first year we spent with friends as opposed to with his parents/family. We had a really great time - it was kind of low-key but very special.

I guess technically it was the second, but it felt like the first.  Last New Years Eve we got married.  So yes we were married before midnight, but it was THE big day too!  We were still celebrating the wedding and new year's eve with our friends and family.  This year it was us and his two kids. We had a relaxing family evening, and a special dinner at home.  For most not so romantic, but for me - I am in my mid forties and felt I missed out on kids -- so the night was a delight and blessing.

It was my husband and my's first NYE as a married couple and it wasnt that different. Just a different house and different last name :-) same friends and same typical party. But it was nice knowing that we were married. Definitely put a smile on my face for my first new year kiss!

Yes this was our first new years together, and actually we never got to celebrate it together. My husband is a Resident at a hospital and was on call. He got called just as we sat down at a restaurant, so I ended up ordering take out and going home. But he made up for it when he got home

This was our first NYE as a married couple and our 5th together (though our very first we were in a long distant relationship and were not physically together.) We went out but it was low-key.

This was our first NYE as a married couple and 5th overall. I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 days before so we just spent time with our friends and played games. We begin cooking breakfast at midnight! I enjoyed it.

It was our first new years married...but we never have done much for new years. I worked new years eve until 1AM so we had some wine when I got home and went to bed...not too exciting.
