I need opinions on how to go about tipping condo staff for the new year. (I realize I'm a little late.) The problem is I live in a very large complex with multiple two-floor buildings. There is a large maintenance staff (I don't know how many people). I don't see them very often. (They are not responsible for anything within my home.) They do collect my garbage, but it's a different person every day. There is a superintendent, but he's not a very nice person and only does a small fraction of the work so it doesn't seem right to just tip him. I could tip him and ask him to distribute the money, but I suspect he would just keep it. Suggestions on how much to tip and how to give it?
