Weekend Plans: We have our last Christmas celebration with H's immediate family, tomorrow. On Sunday, we are celebrating our nephew's third birthday
Rants: We've had Christmas with H's family THREE weekends in a row now! The whole weekend.. every.time. It isn't just an afternoon, then go home and enjoy the rest of the weekend, we have all day, then have to go back over and go to their church, eat with them, play games, etc. If it was just one weekend, I would get it, and be happy. But I need my weekends, at least somewhat, to ourselves. I am just so overwhelmed with H's mom and sister right now!
Raves: While I'm crabby about another long Christmas celebration, we get to see our new twin niece and nephew as well this weekend! They're 3 weeks old today! Also.. H surprised me when I got home last night, and I had a Keurig waiting for me on the counter!!
Weekend Plans: Not much going on tonight. Tomorrow we have a busy day of errands- Grocery shopping, trip to Walmart, getting new food for our furbaby because the vet thinks he might have a food allergy, and talking to the bank to get pre-approved so we can start house hunting soon... ahhh! And then we're going out to eat at Outback with the gift card we got for Christmas
Rants:The automatic car starter that H got me for Christmas has been malfunctioning for some reason, which makes me sad because it's been 5 degrees out in the morning and it would be nice if my car was warm when I get in it
Raves: Just excited that it's the weekend
Rant: Other than being tired for most of the week and work being busy I don't have any real rants this week!
Raves: I went on H's health insurance which went into effect this month so I got a nice bump in my paycheck! Our company also gave everyone a cost of living raise (only 1.5%, but I'm not complaining) so I'll get another bump in two weeks!
Also, I joined weight watchers this week but am really starting to track this weekend after I go grocery shopping so I'm excited that we're going to start being healthier!
Weekend Plans: Tomorrow I have to run errands (grocery store, Walmart, etc.) and pick up a chair my boss is giving us. Then H & I might go to the movies. Sunday is my usual cleaning/cooking day. Nothing too exciting.
Weekend Plans: H's bday was this past wednesday so we're going out with some friends tomorrow night to celebrate!
Rants: My E-ring doesnt' fit me
I'm bloated and only going to get bigger so I"m going to wait to have it resized but Im feeling naked without it! Luckily my wedding band is slightly bigger and still fits.
Raves: H helped me clean/do laundry/ etc last night..and he was excited about it and talking about how WE could do more of this stuff together...I'm thrilled that he's going to help me out more around the house!

Weekend Plans: Tonight is dinner at my parents, since they are leaving for FL in the am. They will be there until May. Hopefully we'll get to visit them at some point! Tomorrow we have a plan to use some gift cards from Xmas, so movie date and dinner, probably. We also both desparately need oil changes, so I'm hoping he'll agree that those are, indeed, better together
Other than that, I'm hoping the weather warms up, so maybe we can get some walks in with the pup!
Rants: Nothing big... Although I did just spill my water all over my desk. whoops. And we can't get into our system, and it's only our busiest time of year, and I got home 2 hours later than I normally do last night (combination of OT and an accident on the highway) and I was pulled into my managers office to discuss what he deemed an 'HR issue', which I am pretty sure is bologna, and so is anyone else who knows what happened, and okay, I'll stop now.
(Seriously, though... joking around and saying to person A while person B is standing next to us, hey, did you hear that person B is pregnant? It's not true, I'm just starting a rumor, haha.' and having person A and B laugh also? Yeah, not seeing where the HR issue is.)

Raves: It's finally Friday. That's the happiest news I've heard in a long time.

Weekend Plans:
Meeting some girl friends for dinner tomorrow night, and watching the Viking-Packer game (go Vikes!) tomorrow. Otherwise, trying to get everything cleaned up and put away from our week at home last week.
Rants:
H and I both got sick right after Christmas, and I just cannot seem to get better! H says he is starting to feel better, and I'm starting to feel worse
Hoping getting some extra sleep this weekend will help!
Raves:
Just looking forward to a quiet weekend at home with H! It's been so busy with the holidays and traveling, that it will be nice to have a more normal weekend.
Weekend Plans?
We're driving up to Wilmington tomorrow (about 20 min from us) and going to Trader Joe's which we do every few months or so to stock up on their delicious foods. The rest of the weekend is my normal cleaning/laundry schedule. So nothing exciting.

Rants: Nothing to really rant about...I'm pretty happy. I'm off for 2 more weeks and that makes me smile
Bills are about the only thing that is making me sad...I hate bills.
Raves: Its the weekend! I love Trader Joe's and any one on one time I get to spend with H. The new furbaby (our kitty) is doing awesome and I'm so excited that everything is working out with her! I love her...
That's so exciting Leah! I'm jealous that your reno's are progressing so quickly! Ours have been at a standstill... for months! Are you feeling better about having bought this house now?
Rants: I don't really have much to rant about this week... I wish this cold i've had for like 3 weeks would go away... I think it is... FINALLY...
Raves: Nothing really to RAVE about this week... happy it's Friday I guess? lol life is just kinda happening at the moment.. nothing too terribly exciting.. or horrible.. so i'm just.. content I suppose.
Weekend plans: Tonight Hubby and I are going out for supper... I wanted to go see "This is 40" but it hasn't made it to our theater yet... we only have 2 screens... so it takes a while for us to get some movies. Hopefully next weekend. Other than that I think it will just be a fairly low key weekend. Hoping to get SOMETHING done in our house this weekend, or get the rest of the trim made that we need to do for our addition... i'll see what I can convince hubby to do. Laundry/groceries/house cleaning will all be in there some where too..
Rants: Not much really just hoping I feel normal soon. I have been sick since Christmas and it is super annoying.
Raves: H has been taking really good care of me lately and it shows me how much he is ready for a baby. Which is AMAZING to see.
Weekend Plans: Tonight we will probably just go to dinner and do whatever. I am meeting with one of my BM's tomorrow for breakfast to go over stuff for her shower and wedding. Then H and I are going to clean and catch up on laundry we have gotten SO far behiond on everything with the holidays and being super busy. Sunday we will just stay home and relax or maybe go to FIL's to visit.
Rants: I literally have managed to not only bury my desk in work this week but also myself. I don't know what the deal is around here, but I think I need an assistant ASAP!!!
Raves: My uncle is doing so much better after his operation on his heart that he may even get out of the ICU unit this weekend. This brings my family such great relief I can't even tell you ladies how great this is. A week ago he literally died twice and here we are hopefully sending him home soon! Whew...that was a close one!
Weekend Plans: our date night tonight: Walmart grocery shopping and dinner out. Whoohoo! Saturday/Sunday just trying to get caught back up at home from hanging around a ICU unit for 4 days and then jumping into work and having no time to even pretend that I have a home for relaxing! Besides, next weekend is my grandparents 60th (!) wedding anniversary so we're traveling 8 hours to help them celebrate. So the idea of hanging out at home and watching football sounds like heaven!
