HELP! Potty training problems!

We just got a Lab/boxer mix who is just adorable. She is about 4 months old and we're working on potty training. When we got her, she was only peeing a little bit in the house, never fully emptying her bladder. So we took her to the vet thinking it was a UTI and it was. We have done all the medicine and she doesn't have one anymore but is still peeing just a little bit. I think it's now a learned behavior. How would I break this?

Thanks!

  • I would recommend crate training and tethering her to you when you can't keep both eyes on her.

This, plus make sure you've cleaned all the spots in your house where she's peed with a good enzymatic cleaner. You may have to retreat them more than once if it's soaked down deep into the rug.

    GL!
