Introducing...

Clare Louise, born Sunday morning, 9lbs 19.5in @40w6d

Working through the craziness of the day and will share a birth story when I finish writing it if anyone cares, but the short version is that we discovered she was frank breech when I was 7cm. Got supremely lucky that on-call OB who had to take over my care was well-trained for breech births. After discussing the risks, we went for it and I successfully birthed her med-free despite her presentation. Her bum is slightly bruised from it but we are both doing great. I am incredibly happy with my care and the hospital's preparedness with an OR team scrubbed and waiting down the hall in case I was not so lucky. We are truly blessed.
