It's for DS of course.
Do you recommend the insert or the mini-toilet thing? Or both? Trying to get prepared to start this, even if slowly in the beginning.
Re: I need a potty
I bought this one.
I liked that it was multi-stage (meaning it could convert to use on an adult toilet) and it also converted to step stool for him to use.
Plus, there weren't a lot of crevices where pee could sit and that would be hard to clean. My friend told me to avoid the one with the cushy seat because the pee just gets caught in too many places.
I think I'm going to put it in the bathroom in a few months just so he can get used to seeing it.

We have the insert. I wasn't about to start potty training since DS is 20 months but he was peeing before he got in the tub so we started holding him over it. He now routinely poops for us at home and tells us when he needs to go. We aren't so good with the pee but seeing that I wasn't planning on starting the process for a few months I will take what I can get.
We put him on the toilet for a few mins before bath and when he tells us "poop". He tells us poop a lot and only goes about 30% of the time but whatever.
