Buying a house - Creston

Hello everyone. My husband and I are currently house hunting and are quite interested in the Creston area. Does anyone have experience with the quality of those neighborhoods & school districts etc? I've heard good and bad things.

We just love Riverside park and would love to be close to it.

Re: Buying a house - Creston

  • My Husband and I lived right across from riverside park several years ago. We were happy in the area. The school system is GRPS and the schools in the area are not that great. When we were house hunting my Dad suggested that we stay North of Knapp. (He works for GRPD and still suggest this buy the way). There is more crime in the area south and Knapp seemed the be the line. There are going to be pockets of great houses and neighbors but if your looking at having kids the schools there aren't the best. We ended up taking DH's SS to a Charter Academy.
