Re: Good Thoughts & Confession Session Thursday

  • Good Thoughts: to my friends and myself who are trying to lose weight, and get healthier for ourselves and our families this year. We are cheering each other on, but this is only the beginning of our joint effort, and we are sure to face many obstacles and bumps in the road as we move along it.

Good Thoughts: to my aunt, who has been slipping mentally for the past few years. It's more obvious now, but I don't know if and when she will get help for this. The good thing is she does not live alone. Thank goodness.

Confession: I am on a cleaning streak today. My pantry got a makeover, dishes are done, and dinner's cooking. But, why does it take me so long to get myself moving? If I could do a fraction of what I did today, on a daily or regular basis, my house would be nearly spotless. Only "nearly" because children live here.

  • good thoughts: to my brother in law, who is on day 14 in the ICU and is suffering from pancreatitis. He is undergoing his third surgery tomorrow, but seems to be steadily improving.

And to his wife. Who is struggling with the news that she might lose her husbamd (they are both young, i believe he is 32)...and that she can be open and accepting to the kindness of others and appreciative... which is often difficult for her (that's an understatement)

good thoughts to my DH who has an interview today!

Confession : get me out of here, I've been at work for 30 minutes and can't wait to leave!!
