I am beyond upset right now!!
So, DH and I have a little delivery company and we have 7 trucks. I just received a call from a really pissed off customer because my stupid employee backed up to his BRAND NEW 4RUNNER!!!!!
Now I have to meet him at the shop and see how much this little joke is going to cost us!!!
We tell them every single day, to have the other guy help him back out while the guy backs up the truck!!
I just needed to vent. GGRRR I am upset I'll let you know how much it turned out to be

I'm really upset, I know we all make mistakes but we tell them every day to please be careful!!
I guess the appointment is for tomorrow at 11:30 so I will update then how much it will be. We do not want to contact our insurance because we don't want our rates to go up....
I have a headache now......
Sorry girlie. That sucks!
Last month while at work (I work at a medical office) it was pouring raining and a FedEx truck backed into the solar panel overhang in the parking lot. I think he was trying to back up too, and couldn't see that he was about to hit something. I was told those panels were like $800 a price and he ruined at least 5 of them. They just finished fixing them today.
Oh no!! Did you see him after that or do you think he got fired?
And, it was raining I understand that but in Denver there is no snow or rain
it just makes it a little worse!!!
I haven't seen him since, but he said he knew he'd get in trouble but don't think he'd get fired because he had been a good employee for 20 years there.
And yeah I agree. If there's no snow or rain and that still happens, that's just being a poor employee. Is he a good employee besides this incident?
From what I see, yes! He's always on time, he hasn't missed a day, and he works very hard! I think this is just going to come out of his check and hopefully he can learn from this!
Um, you can't take the cost of this out of his pay. If you don't want to pay it then use your insurance. It's called an accident because that is what it is. Your employee can't use his personal insurance for an accident at work, that is why your company has insurance. I'm shocked that you would take the cost of this out of an employees pay check.

I'm not going to take it out of his check I was just very upset. We did call our insurance and its slowly in the process of all this mess being fixed
