Oscar Nominations
I don't even go to the movies that much anymore, but it's slow in here and I can't think of anything else to talk about!
Any thoughts on the Oscar nominations?
We usually watch movies when they come out on On Demand, but we did actually see Argo in the theaters this year. I was disappointed that Ben Affleck didn't get a directing nomination - it was such a good film!
Has anyone seen Lincoln? That is one that I'd love to see!
As for the Oscars, I think Seth MacFarlane should be funny hosting...but I'll mostly watch to see the dresses.

I usually don't see any movies, but we did see Argo and I really, really liked it. I'm disappointed that he got the snub as well. "Argo F*ck yourself!"
Basically I watch the red carpet stuff to see the dresses and don't watch the ceremony at all. Awards shows bore me.
Argo and Django are both on my to-see list. I actually think Steve and I are going to see Django next Friday, as we're both off and can see it during the day without worrying about a sitter.
I did see Les Mis and I really liked it, and though Anne Hathaway doesn't have a lot of screen time, she really was amazing.
I've never hears of the Beast of Southern Wilds movie that got the little girl nominated--for a role she filmed at age 5. I'm interested in seeing it if Netflix ever gets it.
