Annapolis peeps chime in!
DH and I are planning a weekend babymoon before #2 gets here. We're thinking about heding to Annapolis for an overnight-rec some nice (but not too fancy) and yummy places to eat. We don't do too fancy so nothing gormet or stuffy!
Re: Annapolis peeps chime in!
For breakfast, I would recommend Main Ingredient or Miss Shirley's. Main Ingredient is great for lunch or dinner as well.
Our favorite special occasion restaurant is Lewnes' Steakhouse in Eastport. It's a nice steakhouse but not like jacket required fancy.
What kind of food are you interested in?
I love so many Annapolis restaurants.
Level - small plates, locally sourced food, awesome handcrafted cocktails (for DH)
El Toro Bravo - Mexican
Lemongrass - Thai
Galway Bay - Irish
Lemongrass
Carpaccio (we're going tomorrow!)
Brio
Pusser's (sounds awful but it's good and right on the water)
Federal House
Some of my favorites:
Miss Shirley's for breakfast (Main Ingredient is a local favorite, but I actually much prefer Shirley's)
Lunches/Dinners
Boatyard Bar & Grill
Metropolitan Kitchen
Joss (if you're into sushi)
Pusser's has the water view, but I personally think the food is terrible.
Chart House (famous for their salad bar, has a view from Annapolis on the other side of Spa Creek)
If you happen to stay at the Loews, their new restaurant, West, isn't too bad and they have half-priced apps and pizza during happy hour. For your DH, their cocktail list is great.
