And more bawling...

Today is my first day back at work Crying

Honestly, I'm not really minding being here right now...but dropping him off at day care and the thought that this is how it goes now just sends me over the edge.  Boo hoo...it gets better, right?

Re: And more bawling...

  • it does get better. Not easier...not perfect...but better:) Although I cry everytime I have to send Ella to daycare with any form of the sickies. (as in: little cough, slight runny nose, a rough morning for her, perhaps a rough night the night before....) I cry when I feel like I should be at home taking care of her vs. stressing about how I need to be at work.

    xoxo!!!

    Hang in there Anjelica!

  • Oh hang in there Sweetie!  It's ok to feel the way you do!  Call the daycare as often as you need to.  Cry often!  Get it out!  Like Pea said, it gets better.  Hang in there!  You're doing great Mama!

    Big Hugs Anjelica!!!!  XOXOXO

  • I'm dreading this day.  Big hugs to you dear.
  • Oh I know how you feel. I've been through this too with both kids. Actually today Celeste started in the daycare that big brother goes to and she was crying and would not let go of my leg. I stayed a bit and comforted her. But hearing her crying was just squeezing my heart. On the other hand with the first daycare she did the same thing. After 2 weeks she was waving bye bye to me when I said bye bye. I would say go ahead and cry, check on him as often as you want. When I came back today to drop off the new diapers and wipes for her she was playing with some toys next to some other kiddies. ((BUG HUGS)) Its a little harder on mommy I think because we are the mommy.?
  • Thanks ladies.  3 hours to go...

One of the women here just came up to me and put her forehead to mine and said something like, "Well, every day is going to be a struggle now..."

    Wow...thanks, that's helpful....
