Let's start something new for Mondays. Since there seems to be a decent amount of readers here, how about a book club Monday where we can check in on what we are currently reading and if you like it or not?
I'll go first.... I am reading Untraceable by S.R. Johannes. I is good, but it has taken me about 200+ pages to get into it. To me it is slow and I feel that it could have been shorter.
PS - If anyone has a Nook account, add me as a friend so we can share book. CathyL0709 at gmail dot com.

Re: Book Club Monday
Sounds good to me! I'm trying to read 25 books this year. I'm actually on my 5th, but I just started school back up this week, so I'll start slowing down.
I'm currently reading Chelsea, Chelsea Bang, bang by Chelsea Handler. I'm about 50 pages in and I havent really formed an opinion yet.
I'm waiting on a hold at the library for Divergent though and excited to read that!
I'm about 40% done with City of Bones. The movie comes out in August, so I want to read it before then. I'm enjoying it a lot, there are a few concepts in it that are reminding me of other books. I've been read a lot of dystopian, so urban fantasy is a nice change of pace.
I plan on reading all of the Mortal Instruments books back to back. What do you have next on your list?
City of Bones sounds interesting. I thinkthat my next book is going to be either Fallen Star by Jessica Sorensen or Delivered with love by Sherry Kyle.
LOVE the Chelsea Handler books! I can't stop laughing when I read them!
Audiobooks:
I just finished Xenocide- Orsen Scott Card (ender's game book 3). VERY deep book. I think Ender's Game the movie comes out this fall. Can't wait!
I started Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn on my way home. So far it's just the intros, but everyone I know who read it talks about how mind blowing it is.
Books:
Half way done Total Money Makeover. It's interesting, he's a little crazy in some points. I hope to start the snowball of debt paying when H's job settles in.
Next up - pick Feast for Crows - George RR Martin (Book 4 Game of Thrones) back up. Book 3 is probably my favorite book EVER, so I'm hoping this doesn't let me down. I only put it down because I had 3 books become available at once.
I got a nook for this reason. Totally worth the money since the eLibrary has more than enough to read, so I'm not buying books.
i just finished Gone Girl- It was good and very surprising ending but i wasn't like oh wow that book was amazing! in my opinion it was good... maybe i wasn't overly thrilled with it because everyone kept saying omg the ending is crazy! so i knew to expect something differant
i am currently reading ( need to start it today, lol) memoirs of an imaginery friend by Matthew Dicks for the book club i am in. we meet once a month! my goal this year is 50 books (last year was 25 and i read more) wish me luck!
I have 1 chapter left of "Do Life" by Ben Davis. It's about his 120 pound weight loss and commitment to running. The book is very similar to his Do Life blog. It's a good book and would be great for anyone looking for some fitness motivation.
I read e-books on my iPad. Usually e-books are much cheaper than hardcovers or paperbacks at the bookstore. I've been reading so much more since I got an iPad just over a year ago.
I got a Kindle for Christmas so I've been book crazy!! I'm on my 6th book since Christmas. Crazy!
I'm currently reading Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It's good enough, but I'll probably forget about it in a month. I'm just not always sure who's writing, so I guess I don't like the author's style all that much.
Next up I have The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom. I'm using my mom's library account to rent books for free. I've been moving through some of the "most popular" list. I'm on the waiting list for Gone Girl! I also have about 100 books available from linking my Kindle to my SIL's account, a lot of which I'm interested in reading!
I am currently rereading They Cage the Animals at Night. I read it in high school and had been wanting to read it for a while but could not find it. Then when I went to my friends this weekend she had it on her shelf! She said that she got it on a recommendation from me!
This same friend had a ton of books that she was donating so I took some of those and borrowed a couple of others so I will be good for a while. Plus I took the new Emily Giffin book out of the library. My goal is to read 50 books this year so hopefully this should help that goal since I am currently at 0/50.
