doesn't it seem SO early?!!?!?

for Christmas stuff, seems like its earlier and earlier every year.  I mean, I like to just get through Thanksgiving and then enjoy those 25 days of Christmas.  I think we get to Halloween and all the stuff is up and it gets WAY too commercialized.  I think people forget the reason for the season....... JMO.

Re: doesn't it seem SO early?!!?!?

  • ITA!  Thanksgiving is just thrown out the window once Halloween is over.  I think people get way too caught up in buying gifts and such, we need to just sit back and think about what we are celebrating!
  • I'm 100% with you!  I don't listen to any Christmas music or do any decorating until Thanksgiving is over.  It seems that people just totally forget about Thanksgiving altogether!
    Siggy coming soon....

  • AMEN!!!  (no pun intended, ok, well maybe, ha!!)

I think it's ridiculous how they push everything on people in such a commercialized way.  I love Christmas for the reason of it all - not gifts and such.

  • I agree...I think Thanksgiving is totally a forgotten holiday.  I don't do anything for Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving.
  • I thought it was ridiculous in July when Cracker Barrel had Christmas stuff out.

I refuse to think about anything Christmas-y until after Thanksgiving.  I hate how commercialized the holiday has become. It makes me sad.

  • I was in Sam's last week and they're playing Christmas music non-stop and have everything Christmas out to sell.  Why can't people Respect the Turkey?
  • I agree with you all...it's WAY too early for Christmas. I thought Opryland was REALLY pretty and all and I am glad I got to see it decorated for Christmas but I mean, it's Nov. 10.
  • I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

I've been hearing Christmas music on the radio for a couple of weeks - CRAZY!!!

I too can't think about Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving.

Laura, you cracked me up w/"respect the turkey".
