whats going on in everyone elses lives?
Re: whats been going on???
I find it amazing that so many of you are pregnant! Yikes! Congrats! We definitely are not in a rush for that and agree we are waiting at least a year. It has been fun that my husband has been much more vocal about our future kids and when we have kids since the wedding though. It makes me excited!
The holidays kept us really busy right after our honeymoon, so we finally feel like we can breath! We are having our backyard redone right now. After 2 years of saying we would do it, we are finally just paying for the labor to come in and do it. Irrigation didn't work. We are really excited to have some grass for our huge pup....hopefully he won't destroy it or it will be a very expensive mistake! lol Other than that, I have been booking flights for May weddings that we are in and looking forward to that! Also, my hubby wants us to climb Mt. Whitney in August, so I'm mentally preparing for taking that training on. He's done it, but says that it's on the pre-baby bucket list to do it with me! lol
Hope all u TTC ladies get your bfp soon!
Not much has changed since our wedding. I just started on sick leave from my job due severe pelvis pain from my pregnancy. its nice to be home but hard to rest while chasing after an active 20 month old! Lol we also recently found out that our son will be getting a sister!! So excited to be having a girl! Now to degut, organize, and clean the house from head to toe!!
Wow all this talk about TTC and being pregnant is making me a little jealous.
We aren't going to start TTC until probably the end of the year. We want to be in a house before we start and our lease isn't up until August. They may let us out early since we have giving the complex so much trouble, (like calling the building inspector on them). I keep looking at places and I found an amazing house, but let's see if it is still there in 6 months....
I was starting to feel like I was the only person on here that's not TTC or pregnant right now!
DH aren't going down that path for a least a few years. I need to finish my Ph.D. and we'll be moving to a new area and I need to get my career started before we TTC.
Congrats to everyone who's expecting, I hope you all have happy healthy pregnancies! Good luck to everyone TTC!
We are definitely not TTC right now.
H got laid off (we knew this would happen for the winter). SOOO he started a new job the 7th. The 8th they told the workers, the company has been bought out and they weren't taking anyone without 1+ years of experience. Luckily... H talked to the new company's Rep and they are taking his mil experience. WOOHOO bullet dodged. We will see if he stays in this job, or go back to his old one. Army to civilian is a harder transition then I thought. I knew it would be hard, but geez.
I'm waiting to see what congress does between now and March to see if my work will be going on furloughs (leave without pay). I have enough in savings to get us through. If it doesn't happen we start tackling debt.
We will TTC once we pay off debt and have 6 months in savings...
Right now, H and I are trying to recover from the craziness of the holidays, help support his mom through her divorce, and pay off as much debt as we're able to each month (which isn't a lot right now, but H just got a raise, so that will definitely help!).
We have sort of started TTC. We would love to get pregnant soon, but we're okay if it doesn't happen right away, too. So, I guess we've just stopped preventing it for now, and whatever happens happens.
Congratulations to all of you ladies that are expecting! I hope everything goes well!
