Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Work Vent

I am so frustrated at work today.  I have been here all day literally losing my voice as the day goes on and not one single person in this office has helped to answer phones or help drop in clients today.  I have a full day of meeting with clients in addition to picking up phones as our assistant is out today and do you think anyone will help? NO....because we don't want to have to talk to someone we don't want to or get stuck on the phone with a wholesaler.  By all means...let me continue to lose my voice completely and not show up for work tomorrow because I can't freakin talk!  Much better plan... idiots!  Clients are getting frustrated because they can't understand me and I don't blame them one bit.  It shouldn't be this hard somedays.

**ok, end vent**  Just needed to get that one outta here!

  • I wish I could relate so that I could offer advice but I have none. I hope you get better and they step up. Try to relax tonight and get some rest.
  • Ugh. I'm sorry you had such a crappy day. I can't believe no one offered to help.  Hope tomorrow is better for you.

  • I am so sorry! I had the same problem a few weeks ago and a client told me to stop being condescending. I told him I wasn't, I was just straining to talk to him!
