Re: Wednesday Randoms
"My" photographer is essentially retiring from professional photography. I'm so sad. She did our e-pics, wedding pics, family pics, TTD pics, and DS's newborn photos. I wanted to get professional pics done for his first birthday (not until May, ha!) but now I have to find someone new. Bah.
I have been awful about working the past month or two. I dont know what is wrong with me lol.
Thank you! He always has to lay on someone and she is so tolerant of him.
Becky who was your photog? I only ask cause my Brother is getting married and I've been referring a lot of photogs to FSIL.
I desperately need to go to the grocery store, but I loathe all of them that are 5 minutes from my house. I need to somehow justify going to Wegman's.
I am super-sucking at life this week! Two rainy commutes in a row, really late both days.....its like the universe just does not want me to be here when it rains.
I want to punch DH when he whines about the kids not sleeping since he LAYS THERE IN BED while I go tend to them.
You won't like tomorrow's forecast either, it's suppose to SNOW!
I want a good old fashioned stay-at-home blizzard.
DH made box mac & cheese for DD last night - and he messed it up. Apparently he's never made it before - I'm still just shocked by this - seriously how does someone get through college and young single adulthood w/o making Kraft mac & cheese???? Also - when he messed up, he was like the "the directions are confusing" uh what?
2nd - ditto on the sucking at life, bad commutes. I've had 2 super shitty commutes so this morning, I got up early (despite DD having a bad dream and coming into our bed at 5 am) and left early and was still my standard 30 minutes late. Ugh
oh - also - re DD's bad dream - I apparently was the mean lady that scared her in her dream. But despite that, it was me she was shrieking for at 5 am!
This blows my mind!!!
I will love tomorrows forecast if it means I can stay home!!
That's crazy. My husband is a wonderful cook but for some reason he can't grasp making pancakes. I think it's the easiest thing in the world but he always flips them too soon or too late and they come out a complete mess.
I'm so tired. I haven't slept well in weeks.
DH will be commuting to DC for one month, starting tomorrow. We took a test drive on Monday and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes at 2pm. He's going to be miserable to be around for the next few weeks!
My sister is having another girl. I don't envy that family! My niece is adorable but crazy. She is in to everything and I can't imagine the fights her and her little sister will get in to.
DH is absolutely amazing in the kitchen. He loves to cook and I am happy to let him cook. But he can't make pancakes either!! I don't know why but it's always a disaster.
can I add another?
my parents are taking us on a cruise next month - all great/lovely, etc. - when my mom set up the reservation for the 3 of us, she listed DH as the primary contact for our family - so everything is in his name - meanwhile, he's not doing anything for this - guess who's doing all the online registration, credit card information, every time he has a question, he asks me. DH has 0 tolerance for all the detail involved in these kinds of things and its 1000x easier for me to just deal with it, so I do, but its just annoying antiquated of my mom that she choose to designate my husband as teh contact person instead of me, her own daughter - and considering 100% of the discussions we've had with my parents about this have been with me.
That's really odd and annoying! Where are you going on your cruise?
Western Carribean - Miami, Cozumel and Roatan Honduras. We've never been on a cruise - so I'm psyched.
That sounds great!
This is hilarious! The first time DH made the mac & cheese from the box, he wondered why his didn't "turn out like mine". Really?! And I'm considered the cook in the family but I suck at making breakfast... I don't know how to get an omelet right and my pancakes are hit or miss.
My Wednesday random: getting old sucks. I seem to have some minor health issues but they've been piling up lately... pain to my right foot, stomach pain that I'm getting checked out to see if it's an ulcer or GERD, and I think I threw my back out earlier today while lifting the laundry basket. I'm seriously falling apart!
we did this cruise for our 5th anniversary in 2011..but it was out of Tampa. You'll have a great time!
You can justify it by saying you are spending time with me Sadly, I go there more than I should, so any time you feel the need.
