DH and I are in the process of buying our first home, and finally have an accepted offer on a fantastic house!!
So, going from a small 2 bedroom apartment to a house means we are going to need more furniture. I LOVE Anthropologie furniture. I am obsessed. And also can not afford any of it, of course. Any advice of where I can find that type of style for a more affordable price?

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
Definitely! I would also add homemade and crafty items. A big part of what makes the store so enchanting is how many hand-crafted things are around. If you have an active Craigslist in your area, you may be able to find some great old furniture or weird pieces that just need some touching up.
This. I also like Cost Plus and Pier 1.
