Where would you go eat?

Where would you pick for a nice, romantic dinner if you could go anywhere?

Ideally, not too far from Whitemarsh, so anywhere downtown, Towson, Bel Air would be ok.

TIA!

Re: Where would you go eat?

  • Liberatore's is really good!  There's on in Perry Hall and I personally like the ambiance although I know a few people that don't like the openess.  It's not too dark but not too bright...so definitely could be romatic.  And their food is awesome!

  • I'm not from around there so I haven't been to too many places but I liked Oregon Grille and the Milton Inn.
  • Sammy's in Mt Vernon
    The Melting Pot
    Oceanaire
    Flemings

  • honestly I know it's a chain and not too fancy...but being preggers and seeing I am super picky I most likely would choose something like PF Changs!

Haha, I LOVE PF Changs. Actually, now that you mention it, I'm supposed to pick a restaurant for my and BIL's birthday dinner, and I think I might pick this!

But OP, to answer your question, our favorite special occasion restaurants are The Melting Pot and Flemings.

  • The Milton Inn is really nice, quiet and cozy. We had an anniversary dinner there and it was great. They're on restaurant.com all the time too so maybe you can get a good deal!

Now I want it...DH and I aren't fancy schmancy resteraunt people...we usually go for outback or local bar food even for special events.

  • If money weren't an issue I'd say Charleston's downtown.

  • Depending on budget, either Charleston or Cinghiale down town.  H loves Ruth's Chris.

  • Since its restaurant week I would do Milton inn. Though we went to Manor Tavern for our anniversary and it was one of the best meals i have had in a very long time. They are under new ownership and everything is locally sourced, with much of the produce coming from their own gardens. It was amazing!! And it's cozy and inviting.
