City Street Names
For any of you nesters who live in St. Louis (City), this link is to the St. Louis public library's site. They have compiled an index of the city street names and street orientation (east-west, north-south), street name origin, dedication date, and neighborhood(s) through which the street runs (when known).
I really enjoyed looking up the different street names during our house search, especially when it came down to choosing between two homes, one on Sidney Street and one on Victor Street, and finding that they were both named for the children of the same man.
