  • Well???? what are your 3????

  • Taylor Swift annoys me, but I like her songs. When she comes out with a new song, 9 times out of 10 , I like it and sing along.

I would not be a very good SAHM. Sometimes I think, oh wouldn't it be great if I didn't have to work and I could stay at home...but I'm not sure it would be great. I love my kid (obviously) but I spent a couple days this week at home with him by myself and they were long days. Maybe it's because I'm not used to it. I feel horrible saying this.

This is really a vent...I have cut back my morning stops at Dunkin Donuts and now go once a week instead of everyday. The lady this morning (who I have previously raved about) gave me a concerned look, pointed at my eyes and said "You look really tired!" Normally I'm not really offended by the "tired" comments, but from a kind of stranger it bugs me. Yes I am tired - it's first thing in the morning. And also, I have an eye infection that requires me to wear my glasses and no makeup so that would be why I look extra crappy. Kthx.

  • Ha, Taylor Swift, I think she is so adorable, but when I hear her voice, OMG, it is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I agree I could never be a SAHM. I feel like whenever I am home with my kids for an extended period of time I cannot offer them the activities and mental stimulation they get at school and feel like a loser. However I could totally do some sort of part time gig and send them to school like 3 days a week.....

  • Oh here's a FFFC......one of my neighbors is home schooling her kids and all I can think of is, yeah, that's not going to turn out well. She is dumb as a box of rocks.

  • I'll play, even though mine is pretty dumb.

The company I work for is trying to utilize facebook more...and they have put me in charge of it. They want something new posted EVERY DAY. I dont even post on my personal page that often!  I'm having a really hard time coming up with stuff to post and its super annoying.

Wait i thought of another one.

Ever since I found out I was pg, I haven't cooked dinner at all.  I'm just not in the mood to eat! Poor H has been eating cereal and whatever random stuff he can scrounge up for the last 2 months!

I used to cook a pretty "involved" meal 5/7 nights of the week...now all I want for dinner is Jell-o   :)

  • I received this notification from Verizon about opening up an account online (which I didn't do). I called the help number and I get some foreign guy who is trying to help, who basically just puts a ticket in for me. I have tried to call this # a bunch of time to change our mailing address. What a big joke. Let's hope that after a year of trying the address will get fixed.

My kid is now throwing screaming fits daily and she doesn't listen. I feel like the biggest loser, because she doesn't listen to me AT ALL.

I cook dinner almost every single night of the week and I'm getting tired of cooking dinner, setting the table, getting the meal on the table, then clean up and baths for the kids. I went to bed last night at 7:00 p.m. and I even sometimes pretend to be a asleep so DH can tend to the kids. I feel like a bad mother/wife, but I'm exhausted.

uhhhh - what's your DH doing while you are doing all this?  I'd be exhausted too - that's not cool of him.

Don't feel horrible...it's tough! Especially when you're not used to it. There are days when it's only 3:00 I am just done. So I put on an episode of Dora so I can just sit for 20 mins on the computer or something. I do love being at home with B but there are days I miss sitting at a desk all day and being in semi-total control of exactly what I did all day.

  • FFC: I went through McDonald's drive-through just to get coffee (side note: All Starbucks and DD should have drive-throughs for cold days like today) and I ended up getting us lunch there too. It's not the first time I've given my kid McDonald's. I do make her eat the nuggets and apples before she can have any fries though...

Before dinner, he is walking the dogs, and he normally takes A with him, but then as soon as dinner is ready he wants to go upstairs to shower, change his clothes, etc. But after dinner he helps me. I guess I shouldn't complain. I'm just venting really.
