Obama to turn American into an Islamic country
Re: Obama to turn American into an Islamic country
This isn't common knowledge already?
Of course he is! Don't you know anything about Barack HUSSEIN Obama's radical Muslim/fundamentalist Christian/Kenyan-fascist-socialist plot to take over the world?!? It starts with your guns, Cats, and before you know it, you'll be living in a universal healthcare, "Holiday" tree-loving hell. All before 2016! Not that term limits will matter once Barack HUSSEIN Obama II is through with our Constitution!
That said- the population determines the religious make-up of the country, not the president.
That said, even if 100 million Muslims immigrate to the US in the next 4 years, we still wouldn't be "an Islamic country" because we aren't a theocracy, as much as some people would like us to be. As a majority Christian nation at the moment, I still have the lovely freedom to not go to church and despise the religious right. Yay first amendment!
Also, your article is almost 2 years old. Find more up-to-date tin-foil-hat-worthy material, please.
(this wasn't a serious post, right? I mean... really?)
ummm....Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. The population of the country decides which religion is the most predominant in the nation, not the president.
That said, Christianity is the religion of the majority in the nation at the moment.
I couldn't possibly care less which religion is of the majority. Both are legitimate belief systems that deserve respect. People's personal beliefs are not my business or my concern, and certainly should have nothing to do with the political system of our country...as our forefathers believed.
Welcome back Cats! I think you forgot to turn your satire meter on upon your return.
This is stupid. America isn't going to turn into an Islamic country. It's going to turn into an atheist one. Duh.
again, why would that matter? So atheists become the predominant group--what's the worry if we aren't a theocracy and you're free to practice your own religion?
We can only hope!
This is great!
Well, seriously Geraldo?
But.......agnostic might be pleasant.
I'm being sarcastic is response to this ridiculous, dated assertion of America becoming an Islamic nation.
But, in seriousness, do you think that if we had an atheist nation overall that faith believers would be able to practice unfettered without being called idiots?
I'm not sure. Just about every interaction I've had with an atheist leads me to believe they strongly dislike and oppose anyone who believes in things unseen.
They shall happily continue to play with their snakes, and I shall happily continue to stay home on Sunday morning.
You haven't been hanging out with very nice atheists. The majority really couldn't care less what you believe, until you start trying to dictate how they should live their lives based on your religion. And you'd feel the same if someone with a different religion from you wanted to make laws based on their beliefs that contradicted yours.
Do we currently have a nation where atheists can be left in peace to their non-beliefs without being called inherently immoral, criminals and not real citizens?
If discrimination against atheists by the religious doesn't bother you, then I don't see why discrimination against the religious by atheists would bother you.
OMG, Geraldo. That is possibly the best link ever, if only for this:
Tell your children, folks!
I always forget if Obama is a sekkrit muslim or closet Atheist.
Actually, I'm slightly uncomfortable just how into Christianity he seems, but at least he keeps his faith out of his politics.
It explains EVERYTHING, right?
Why does the goat have coffee, though? Is coffee an atheist thing?
...I like coffee...
...I'm an atheist...
...that's what I was supposed to take away from this, right? Correlation = causation and all that?
On the other hand, a day without coffee is probably enough to turn anyone into an atheist...
