We have a small 3/4 bath in our lower level for guests. It's SMALL. Maybe only 6 square feet of space on the floor to walk on between the shower stall, sink pedestal and toilet.
DH just tiled it all white, including the ceiling. It looks a lot more spacious and helps control moisture hurting the walls.
Anyway, I'm debating on towel color.
A small piece of artwork in it is blue, green and brown. All the metal is bronze and there's a brown wooden mirror frame and brown wooden cabinet above the toilet.
I'm either thinking navy towels or white ones. Navy for the pop of color to go with the artwork or white to blend away into the walls and not encroach into the room making it feel even smaller.
What would you do?
Re: Towel Color?
what i'm hearing is white, brown wood, and blue/green/brown art.
i'd stick with towels in the blue/green/beige family.
play around with colourlovers.com to create a room palatte and figure out exactly what shades to use. or else print out a few swatches and hold them up in the room
edit to add: buy towels in a few colors, and return the ones that don't look good?
