Shaklee?

Anyone use or know anything about Shaklee products? Any of them? Reviews, thoughts etc?.

Thanks in advance~

Re: Shaklee?

  • My FIL sells Shaklee and is obsessed. We have inherited quite a few products, by default. There is a protein powder that is vanilla flavored (use to be called cinch, now has a new name). I love it in smoothies. Im not trying to lose weight so I can't speak to how it is for that purpose. I have used a lot of the cleaning products, which are suppose to be less toxic than your typical store bought product. I really like the dishwasher detergent and dish soap (super concentrated, you only need a teeny drop). The laundry detergent worked well too. There is some booster that my FIL added to my white lab coat that did seem to make it extra clean. I don't really like the all purpose spray degreaser or window cleaner, they didn't work that well. I make my own from a variety of things, like vinegar, dawn, baking soda etc and prefer them. My MIL thinks the whole thing is a scheme and I haven't actually paid for the goods I used but I probably would for some. Hope that helps.
  • We used them for a little bit, and they did work.  However, they do not list ingredients for their cleaning products, and I have a major problem with that.  Go with Seventh Generation, or better yet, vinegar, baking soda and castile soap.

  • I've heard good things about their cleaning products but have never used them myself. I really like using ENJO which doesn't use any chemicals, just special fibres and cold water. The products seem expensive, but each product is supposed to last for 5 years.
