I'm interested in selling my Marisa 920 designer wedding dress from the 2012 collection.
The dress is marked a size 10, which would have been a street size 8, but was altered to fit a street size 10 (label size 12). In order to do that the waist was brought up slightly and there is an extra seam under the bust that a sash covers. The back also dips down about an inch more than it did originally in order to accommodate the bust. To any guest at the wedding these alterations would not be noticeable- my seamstress was an absolute magician.
It has a gorgeous drop waist/trumpet silhouette that is very flattering, and has functional buttons all the way down the back that hide a zipper. The sweetheart top has little bits of lace peeking out over the top of the dress which add a nice feminine touch.
The color is off-ivory.
The lace is hard to explain, but it's not your traditional flat lace- more like textured piping in the shape of flowers, making it sort of a 3-D lace.
The dress has a bottom brush/ sweep train.
It was altered to have a French bustle.
If you've seen this dress you know it is an absolute show-stopper and a one of a kind dress.
The dress was originally priced at $2,500 in the store but I am asking $1,100 for it (or best offer).
My wedding date is February 23, so the dress will be available after that. I am listing this now because we are moving out of the country shortly after our big day and don't want to haul it with us, so this dress needs to find another home asap!
