Black interior doors...anyone?

I keep seeing this trend on pinterest and I'm not sure if I like them. Never seen them in real life... but my house would be perfect for this trend given my style and decor.

Has anyone on here actually done this? Would love to see some pics or hear your experience, if so. Or, is this just something that lives on pinterest and isn't for the real world?

I have been dying to do this too but can't seem to get DH on board. Our house is a newer house but the right style for it. I also want to put up wainscoting in the hallway and entryway but DH is dragging his feet...

We had that for our exterior home but never given a thought about the interior ones. You may contact excellent online vendors like everything outdoor furniture for more assistance on that.

I just painted our interior doors a bright guacamole green and they. are. awesome!  I have been drooling over painted interior doors on Pinterest too and wish I painted ours sooner.

I've seen these on pinterest and I LIKEY.  High gloss black looks really good.  Maybe just try one and see how you like it?

I've done painted doors but not black.  I say go for it. Worst case scenario, you hate it and can change them.

I follow a blog by a custom home builder and his interior decorator wife and she does black doors a lot and it looks amazing.  I'm not sure I can share someone else's blog on here but PM and I will share the link.  She has lots of pictures on the blog!  It's something I would like to try in my house too!
