Can we have a FB vent post?
I have a few I need to get out!!
Re: Can we have a FB vent post?
let 'er rip!
LOL sorry, I was away from my desk for a little bit.
Hopefully this can be flame-free-
1st friend- posts every.single.day about running. I just get tired of seeing posts about it.
2nd friend- constantly pats herself on the back for the "good" she does for other people. It just irks me, lol.
I know it's FB and people can post whatever they want and yes, I can chose to avoid it but I just wanted to vent.
I get annoyed w/ people who read/stalk on FB all the time, but never post.
For instance my MIL. ...
I have an "older" relative who only gets on FB about once/month and then comment-bombs everything. And the way that FB works it brings old stuff back up into the Newsfeed and then it's not even relevant anymore.
Oh please, lets vent!!
#1. I am SOFUCKINGTIRED of seeing the gun stuff from both sides. Because both sides are just being reactionary and emotional and not posting anything that would lead to real discussions.
#2. There is this one high school acquaintance on my friends list who is such a negative whiny a-hole. she complains about her family all the time, that she is being taken advantage of, that no one appreciates her, she can't find a good job, wah wah wah. Then at least once every couple of months she posts that she will be quitting FB and to message her contact info. But then she never leaves. I kind of just want to delete her but she is very entertaining.
I hate all the "If I get one million likes, my dad will buy me...." posts.
I'm friends with one girl who I keep around for entertainment. She's the daughter of a family friend.
Pregnant/has baby at 19, moves in with bf and his parents, cheats on bf, gets several STDs, leaves bf for guy she cheated with, gets pregnant with new guy, new guy cheats on her with her best friend, has baby, they get back together. She's now 23 years old, two kids with two guys, no education, and a minimum wage job.
I know all of this from FB. She posts alllll her drama for the world to see. Her latest post was a gem.
"I love my family!! Once we get settled with our two baby girls, I'm saving for new boobs!!"
LMAO at this. I know a few people like this. I too keep them around for entertainment. It's like why I watch Hoarders. It makes me realize that my life could be a LOT worse!
All of these annoy the sh!t out of me too, but jadey this takes the cake. I actually find the political/stance posts kind of enlightening, it lets me know that some of my FB friends are complete morons.
I'm tired of people (and even organizations) just re-posting/sharing funny or political e-cards as posts. Seriously. ... that's your contribution?
I started following all these liberal blogs about Occupy Wall Street, etc. before the election and they posted interesting, enlightening original posts or sometimes links to deep pieces by journalists that supported their views. And, an occassional funny post. Now that's all they do. ... seriously, its like a 19 yo intern is now running their social media and they have nothing to add.
I have a friend who is horrible at responding to emails yet she constantly posts dumb crap on FB all day. Um, if you can get on FB on your phone, you can certainly check your email.
Also my MIL shares every.single.photo my SIL posts. She also reposts all of those annoying disgusting pictures of people abusing animals. I hid her a long time ago...
