Where are all the Teddy brag posts??? Tell us a little about your little man!

What is the most adorable thing he does?

How is he sleeping?

Is he a good eater?

What do you love most about being a mom?

Any challenges you have had along the way?

Has everyone in your family met him yet?

Does he like baths?

I cant think of anymore questions, maybe someone else has something to add.

What is the most adorable thing he does? I love when he smiles in his sleep. I think it's the cutest thing ever. My profile picture on FB was taken when he was sleeping.

How is he sleeping? Great! At night, he goes down around 11-11:30 and sleeps until 4 am. We're up at 4, which is when Shawn gets up for work anyway. He feeds. I change him and he's back down until 9-9:30. He's also sleeping 2-3 hour stretches during the day.

Is he a good eater? He is! I gave up on breastfeeding in the hospital. When they took him to the NICU, they gave him formula. He did so well on it, and I was so emotionally exhausted from the NICU experience, that I just went with the formula. He's eating 3-4 oz every 3-4 hours.

What do you love most about being a mom? I just love that he's here. I love when he falls asleep on my chest or when his little fingers grab mine when he's eating.

Any challenges you have had along the way? Nothing other than the normal stuff! The NICU thing was definitely something I could have done without. We're lucky though because he wasn't nearly as sick as most of the other babies in there. I don't know how those nurses do it every day. I couldn't handle it.

Has everyone in your family met him yet? Everyone in our immediate families have met him. He still has a lot of extended family to meet :)

Does he like baths? LOVES them. The only time he fusses is when I pour the water over his head to wash his hair. Other than that, he is so happy to take a bath.

  • BF is NOT easy so I do not blame you. It can be both emotionally and physically draining. You are so lucky to have a sleeper. Sometimes Annabelle STILL does sleep that well ha ha

He was having issues with his breathing. He's okay but it was hard on me. Shawn had just left for work when they came and took him. I hated seeing them wheel him off in the incubator and it was even harder to watch because I was alone. They didn't let me go down with him either. I had to wait until they called me...which they never did. I ended up calling them.

Oh no that sounds so stressful and hard!  I'm glad he's doing better.

  • Hes soo cute!! I can wait until it gets warmer so I can visit.

I also gave up on breastfeeding while still in the hosptial. It hurt and it was uncomfortable and he wasnt having any of it. Im almost thankful I did because with that kids appitite, I dont think I ever would have been able to keep up with him. I will be trying with the next one though.

Im so glad hes a sleeper! Nothing is better than a baby that sleeps. My baby still likes naps. Its wonderful.

  • Glad Teddy is doing well! C was also in the NICU and it is an awful experience not being with your baby. I also formula feed for the same reason. Enjoy your little bundle. Can't wait to meet him!
