Leftover pork roast...what to do to keep it moist?
how should I use it up? I think I have microwaved before and it ends up pretty dry. What about sauteing in butter? or reheating another way without shredding? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Re: Leftover pork roast...what to do to keep it moist?
i know with rice, you're supposed to soak a paper towel in water and lay it over the bowl while microwaving in order to re-moisten the food. maybe try that? or perhaps a little olive oil in a pan might work to re-heat it.
i typically store it with whatever juice it cooked in, so that it stays moist in the fridge. haven't had too much trouble re-heating.

how to use up? maybe a stirfry...or cubed in green beans
you could eat it cold on sandwiches...maybe with a good mustard sauce
You could reheat it with a can of tomatoes...or beef broth
