Favorite comfort food dish

The weather here is gray and cold and gross, and I'm stuck inside with a bunch of teenagers (substitute teacher).  They are LOUD today no matter what I say, so I'm feeling the need for some serious comfort food tonight.  Help me daydream...what's your go-to comfort food?

  • actually one of my favs is what im eating right now.

Sesame noodles and what i call Pams Chicken (its a twist on the Frenchs Fried Onion Chicken)

     Sesame Noodles

I usually half this recipe if its just my husband and I
    1/2 cup sesame oil
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 pkg thin spaghetti
Cook spaghetti as directed and drain. Add ingredients and mix together.

    Pam's Chicken

    About 2 Tbsp butter, melted
Worcestershire sauce ( enough that you are going to dip cutlets into it)
About 1 Tbsp or so of mustard (to your liking really)
    2 cups French's onions, crushed.

Whisk butter, sauce and mustard til combined. Dip chicken breast in liquid then press into crushed onions. Place in a baking pan and cook on 400? for 20-30 mins until chicken is done.
