What are good baby shower foods?

i was thinking to keep it asian with papaya salad and beef kabobs and etc

but i want something else other than asian food.

  • I think food should always be themed. By that I don't mean in a cutesy d?cor way, but in a way that makes it flow. So, if you're wanting to serve the items you mentioned above, then the other items should fit with that, and, therefore, may also be Asian or leaning that way so all dishes compliment eachother. You wouldn't want to serve something like potato salad and/or chips and salsa with that, as it would just be odd, but maybe some sushi rolls, spring rolls, etc. would work well.
  • for sweets mini cupcakes are popular because they are easier to eat & with women, the size is popular because you know how we're always all on diets...lol.

     For something ready I get these treats called spirals. They are tortilla like bread that have a meat/cheese/spread and rolled up & sliced. They are in the frozen food section. I get them at the wholesale club, not sure if regular stores carry them.

     But here are some other ideas, hankey pankey's, anything you can dip, finger sandwiches?
