Anyone doing something interesting this weekend? Something you are or not looking forward to?
Tonight we don't have any plans. Just a quit evening in. We'll probably have pizza and watch a movie.
Saturday, cleaning in the morning then we are going to the basketball game in the afternoon.
Sunday, church, resting that afternoon, then a Superbowl party after church. I am looking forward to all the snacks and hanging out with everybody.
Re: Weekend plans
I'm currently avoiding the massive stack of applications I need to go through today. Ugh. I'm so glad it's Friday.
We're going to look at a venue for my sister's wedding tomorrow [Farmer's Market]. And I plan on pigging out during the Harbaugh Bowl on Sunday. Other than that, should be pretty quiet for us.
Tonight we aren't doing much. Probably just be lazy.
Saturday we are going to our hometown for the afternoon. DH wants to go work out with his friend. DD and I will go hang out at my mom or grandma's house. I think my sister and cousin are going to come into town too. Saturday night, we are going out to dinner for DH's aunt's birthday. We'll probably also stop by the mall since we will be close to it.
Sunday we will clean, do laundry, and lay around the house.
I am loving having weekends off!
After work C and I are going to do some shopping, have dinner then meeting my co-worker and his girlfriend for Gelato at a new place here in Stillwater.
Tomorrow I am doing inventory at my friends salon and probably doing somethings around the house.
Sunday we are going to lunch with some friends and probably watching the superbowl at my parents.
Tonight we are playing Shadowrun (a role-playing game like D&D - yes we are dorks) with some friends. I am looking forward to it because we had to put it on hold for several months while I was taking care of my dad, and this is our first night back.
Tomorrow we are cleaning and dropping off a birthday gift for a family member whose party we couldn't attend. Hopefully we'll have some lazy time in there too and watch some Downton Abbey (we're trying to catch up since we just started watching a couple of weeks ago).
Sunday we are hosting a book club (again with the dorkiness). I am looking forward to that as well since we always have interesting discussions and tasty food (I am making a Mexican layer dip with quinoa and black beans - mmmmmm....).
I went there with my sister when she was looking at wedding venues
. It was a pretty cool place.
DH won't be home til tomorrow, so tonight I'm doing laundry and cleaning. Tomorrow will be spent playing with G, then movie at home if DH doesn't get home too late. Other than that, we need to go to Lowe's at some point. No big plans here, obviously
Tonight I'm catching up on Project Runway (not sold on the team concept yet.)
Tomorrow I'm grading and cleaning and DH is working overtime.
Sunday we're having cocktails and then going out for a fancy dinner with my aunt and her long-time guy (they're more like friends than relatives.) Indy has "Discover Downtown" going on, which means that most of the good restaurants have $30.00, 3 course dinner specials. They offered to buy dinner if we'd provide the cocktails beforehand. Great deal!
Yesterday, I had the second day of an honor band in Cushing with three of my students. Taking those three on a road trip was better than any professional therapy. I laughed so much my stomach ached.
Last night, I enjoyed some wine and catching up with the DVR with my H.
Today we have errands to run -- Sam's, groceries, Home Depot, and we need to buy new pillows for the bed. I also have grading to do, rehearsal plans to write up for the week, and H will be helping me clean up the house and do the laundry. The place is kind of a disaster.
I would usually have community band on Sunday nights, but it's canceled tonight due to the Superbowl. I don't really care about the game, so I think I'll practice.
