I love love loved our realtor! Not only does he know Delco (we are also in Havertown) well, but when our realtor in the city sucked, he stepped in with no experience in Philly and sold our house in 2 weeks at asking price.
His wife had started just getting into RE, so we had the benefit of her eagerness in getting started, plus his years of experience and knowledge. We have referred a few friends to them and they were very happy

Haha! Small world. He helped us buy our house in Drexel Hill in 2009. My husband had sold several cars to the guy who owns that particular C21, and he recommended Phil to us.
I just googled his name to link to him, and I noticed his picture looked a little...sketchy. He doesn't look like that in real life!
Check out Redfin.com They are new in Philly, but I used the company when i lived in Baltimore. If you are buying a house they refund you a percentage of the commission. It's pretty awesome!! Plus they have an amazing web site that is really helpful.
