Hey ladies! I happen to be traveling to SD from Indiana during the SD Food and Wine Fest this week/weekend. While I consider myself a foodie, I'm not a HUGE wine fan/expert. (while I enjoy it, i rarely purchase anything over $20 if not on my expense account!) I'm trying to decide if the $100 for the grand tasting event is worth it. Are the lines crazy long? Is it so stuffed with people we won't enjoy it? Saturday is the only day my hubby and I have to spend together since he's there for a conference, so I want to make sure that we have fun doing whatever it is we're doing. Or, are we better off if we get some dinner reservations and spend $200 on a nice dinner? Oh... and if not the grand tasting event, are there other events that are worthwhile? (I'm solo all day Friday, so I thought about doing a cooking or tasting class) TIA!
