Need help-- sunroom/kitchen flooring

We had water damage caused by our refrigerator line leaking. It leaked under our kitchen flooring, so we *think* (and hope) our insurance company is going to cover it and replace it. If they do that, we should have quite a bit to work with since our sunroom is connected to our kitchen and it has the same exact flooring. The appraiser/adjuster guy counted it as the same space-- we'll see. Anyway, the flooring that is in these two rooms is marble tile (pink marble. I personally do not like it). Due to it being marble, we were led to believe that they'll be giving us around $10-$15 a square foot to work with.

So here's my question: I really want to put hardwood floors in the kitchen and in the sunroom since the rest of our house is hardwood. Should hardwood be used in a sunroom? I feel like I've heard that it can warp or something. The sunroom is on our second floor (which is our main floor since this is a basement-type home).
