Pregnancy question - earlier symptoms with second?

For all the second time mom's.... as most of you know last year I had a pregnancy that ended in loss at about the 15 week mark. During almost the entire first trimester, I had two very distinct symptoms: acid reflux, which I have never had in my entire life other than while pregnant, and bad cramps very low in my abdomen at night throughout the first 2 months.

Now, I'm too early to take a test, but I've been getting both of those symptoms for the past few days. I know logically it's far too early, but is it possible to get symptoms earlier on with your second pregnancy? As mentioned, I've never had acid reflux except when pregnant, so that really has me thinking.

  • Aww! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize you had lost your LO, and I can only imagine how hard it must've been for you. I, too, had a MC last year, but I was only 6 wks.((((HUGSS)))) I can honestly say without a doubt that since our loss I have thought I have been pregnant almost every month since because I've had insane symptoms that mimicked exactly how I felt when I first got my BFP. I never really had sore BBs, mild cramping, or spotting before (and that's exactly how I knew I was pg) but I've had those symptoms every month since. Last month I was sooooo excited bc I just *knew* I was pg again, and I took a test and got a super faint positive line. We were thrilled, but it was short lived b/c it ended up being a chemical pg b/c AF came four days later :( As for your symptoms, they could definitely be a good sign! *crossing my fingers for you*

I had the same thing before my first pregnancy - once we started trying I thought I was pregnant every month! I could have sworn I felt the implantation cramping and everything. But then the one month I didn't think I was pregnant was the month I was!
