Slim Fast - shakes vs bars

This is kind of a silly question..

I've always been a fan of Slim Fast for breakfast. Shakes and bars are easy to grab on your way out the door.  I've always preferred the bars, but just bought a pack of shakes because they were on sale. 

Unfortunately, the shakes me feel awful! I feel slightly nauseous, and my tummy in generally feels upset. I also have a bit of a headache.  Has anyone else experienced this? I've never had anything but positive experiences in the years that I've been eating bars!

I've bought the shakes in the past and had similar side effects, but wanted to try them out again.

  • I've never tried either before but there's probably an ingredient in the shake that is not found in the bars that doesn't sit well with you.  Look at the ingredients and see what the difference is.
  • The ingredients and sugar content of all of these things is probably making you feel horrible. Why not just eat healthier foods?

    This. No bar or shake can replace a healthy balanced meal and fresh fruits and veggies.

  • a slim fast shake has 34 grams of sugar in it.  a hershey bar has 24.  stop eating that crap and eat some real food.  there's a bright idea for you.  
  • Quickly weight loss is very essential for getting a healthy body whom having obesity problem and heavy weight. Do daily exercise in the fresh environment. Avoid to use diet pills without getting suggestion from your family doctor. Go natural to reduce fat by eating healthy foods which having no more sugar and cholesterol.
