Pool side landscaping

Hi Everyone,

I have an inground pool in my backyard. We had it installed last year by an Edina pool builder, but I haven't been able to put many plants or flowers around the poolside because I'm afraid the chlorine will be too hard on them. I wasn't too worried about it last year, but now that spring is around the corner I was hoping to get some good ideas from my fellow experts! Any ideas of good hardy plants that can withstand some chemicals being tossed at them? I've got some hostas my sister transplanted for me but they are the all green ones. I was hoping for something a little more colorful. Any ideas?
