Mental Health Professionals

Maybe I'm just paying more attention, but it seems like we have several ladies either working in the MH field or interested in pursuing it. Am I just reading the same people's posts repeatedly or are there several of us out there? I love connecting with other professionals in different areas and keeping up on trends as well as anything mental health related and was wondering if any of you wanted to get in touch?

i am! i am pursuing my masters in counseling right now. i am starting internship in the fall and hopefully will graduate in december. my main goal is to become a school counselor though; i am taking extra classes right now to specialize in that area.

I am a PA certified high school counselor buuuut there are no jobs, so I am a d&a therapist for the time being.

You really are! I've heard some rumors about NA having some openings though so I'm gonna try for that, I think!

It's tough to find an opening around here. I did not go back yet. I saved enough to be off through the end of April. I'm so glad since I would have had to go back this week if I hadn't. I wanted to be off the rest of the school year, but couldn't swing it financially. Good luck with your search!
