Photoshop Elements 11

Hi ladies,

I browsed through this board a few times last summer and I found it to be very helpful and inspiring. I am very grateful for the wonderful information I was able to gather in regards to sewing and purchasing a sewing machine. I am very happy with my purchase and have been doing some great learning on my own thanks to you.

I am now looking into working with Photoshop Elements 11 and was wondering if anyone is familiar with it and/or know of any great tutorials out on the web for me to use.

We just closed on our first home and I'd like to edit some photographs to frame and place in our looonnnggg hallway. I'd also like to design invitations and holiday cards for personal use.

Thank you so much.

Re: Photoshop Elements 11

  • I got the "Photoshop Elements for Dummies" book - I don't find it all that useful, but it is a good reference. I usually do a google search after I can't figure out what the book is trying to tell me to do and have good luck with that. I don't recall going to any specific sites, but I think Adobe has tutorials on their site.

  • I have Photoshop Elements 10; what I do if I can't figure it out myself, is do a youtube search for a tutorial. I've had great luck with that. GL

  • I love Elements 11(and my Hubby uses Lightroom 4). Honestly theres tutorials everywhere, I usually just google exactally what I want to do and something usually comes up! Honestly the tutorials on the adobe site are probably the best place to start if you are not sure where to start!
