The Ultimate Valentine's Gift: Document Your Love

Hey there.

I was doing a ton of research on what to get my hubby for Valentine's.

This is a fun idea. Hire a videographer to document your love story.

Super cute video of examples here: http://on.wsj.com/Xroo8Y

There's even a 90-year old couple who did it. They are adorable.

  • As a professional video editor my advice if do proceed to so this is never pay full price up front. If they require that then you are working with someone that doesn't give a crap about you. I contract deals that are half up front half on completion. I don't get paid until my client is happy. Make sure you sign a contract, as for references and call them. I can't imagin someone shooting theses for under $500
