I just made a to do list for the 23 hours from when I get home tonight until H's party starts tomorrow. I think I'll be shuffling out a little early tonight from work!
Maybe I don't need to sleep tonight....
And this isn't going to be an amazingly themed Pinterest Party...I just need to make my house suitable for 9-10 kids to run around and make a little food and put up some decorations from Party City. I know most of the moms well and am not trying to make a good impression. :-p
Time for more coffee!

Re: Oh my...
I'm dreading the night before Logan's birthday party. It's not his fault that he was born in the middle of busy season at work for me and Tim, but there are so many times I wish I had more time and energy to devote to his party.
I'm sure she'll have a great birthday no matter what! And those mom's better be impressed or we'll whip them into shape for you.

It went great, Emmy! Thank you so much for the table and benches - they were perfect! Between the smaller table and moving the couch in front of the fireplace, the kids had room to run without major injury. :-)
Heather told me on Sunday morning that she loved her party and asked if she can invite all of the same friends back so they can finish their game. I said maybe over the summer when they can run outside...
i was only up to about 1am on Friday night, took a few breaks on Saturday to enjoy time with Heather and everything was ready on time. Having a written list that Rudy could read and pick things to do helped tremendously - that will be a tool for all future events and maybe weekend chores!
The kids enjoyed the shrinky dinks and Lego stations, ate the food and had fun together (half from pre-K and half from K.) Based on the noise coming from the kid bedrooms, I expected to find a disaster up there, but it wasn't too bad.
I "removed" three boxes worth of toys and art supplies temporarily. At some point I need to find that quantity of stuff that can be purged (or just purge what I removed) and we'll be in good shape. Oh, and we finally moved the play kitchen up to Todd's room and the dining room is much less of a playroom. :-)
Thanjs for asking!
