What's everyone up to this weekend?
Tonight my mom is (hopefully) coming over to install our new light in the master bedroom. The one we have now is very dim and it's a chandelier that hangs low over the end of the bed, so DH is constantly knocking into it.
Tomorrow I have a massage and then we're doing games night with my sister and her wife. Sunday is a family dinner with my FIL and co. I also have some freelance I need to get started on.

TTC since June 2012
I have a serious serious trip to Trader Joe's planned for Saturday. I absolutely love that place and I'm so excited. Haha how lame of me!
We have one not that far from us, but I have never been!
TTC since June 2012
I'm on call tonight until 615 tomorrow morning. I think with the way the week has gone, that I'm going to set an alarm for 615 and get up and finally have the drink(s) I've been wanting to have but haven't been able to because of work obligations.
Saturday will probably catch the parades with some friends and just relax on Sunday.
I had today off so H and I went over to my coworkers' house. They are a married couple our age (24-25) and have a beautiful townhome and it was so spacious and well-decorated. It's in an area that is still being built so of course I came home and looked at prices of the houses they are building.
Dammit I want a house. I'm jealous of them. H needs a permanent job though before we can even think about that. Plus we'll have to eventually decide if we want to stay down here or move back north.
one opened up down the road. I went to see if they sell cakes without corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup. But I didn't find any cakes at all. They had some products I haven't seen before. I still like Whole Foods and Cental Market better.
Tomorrow we are going to a free repotting event at a garden center. Do some laundry at some point. See a movie on Sunday at a new Alamo Draft House (probably Ghoastbusters). And knock on more doors to find the owner of the cat that bit me today. I'm indecisive and conflicted on the situation.
What happened??
Well we went for a walk because I was inside all day focused on editing photos and other photo things. It was really nice walking around our complex. A very friendly cat came up to us and started rubbing against our legs. It was going back and forth between us to rub and get pets. Then H started to walk away and I followed. The cat aparently was p*ssed and lunged at me. Bit my calf really hard and drew quite a bit of blood. Then when I stopped from the shock it started to rub against my legs again and H's legs when he got closer. It followed us for some time then turned around and went back.
H notified the leasing office. They are going to send out a flyer about having pets in the complex. The cat was clean with a collar and I've seen it once before. It's somebody's but don't know who's. I could't get an appointment with our general practitioner. I was able to get ahold of our vet and ask them questions. We are 99.99% sure the cat was just wasn't done getting attention and doesn't have rabies. It would be nice if we could find the owner and make sure it's up to date on it's shots.
