Mine:
J brought me breakfast in bed this morning and I am really looking forward to my 4 day weekend this next weekend. We get Friday off and Monday off! We are in a blizzard warning since yesterday at 5. Haven't seen a snowflake yet. I am hopinh that they meant 5pm Sun and then we won't have school on Monday either. A fat chance of that happening, but a girl can dream...right?
Re: Favorite
Last week- Teaching at a middle school and seeing students that I taught in 2006 when I did my student teaching. They were only in kindergarten then. Some of them remembered me and were happy to see me. It was great.
Looking forward to this week- Taking DH to my OB appointment on Valentine's Day and having him hear the heartbeat for the first time. Then we'll celebrate by going out for a nice dinner.
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I was MIA over the weekend but I'm catching up on posts today!!
Favorite thing from last week was trading in my 2 door cobalt and getting an SUV. Is it weird that having an SUV with a carseat in it finally gave me that "mom" feeling? Preparing the nursery and having baby showers has been making me feel excited about that baby but the vehicle actually made me feel/realize "holy cow, I'm going to be a mom"
Favorite thing I'm looking forward to this week would probably be the possible snow tomorrow. They aren't predicting much but I'd love to get just a little. We desperately need the moisture here.
My favorite thing was going furniture shopping with J. Even though it ended up turning into a fiasco, I still enjoyed it. It was great to get to spend some time with him.
I don't really have anything that I am looking forward to. I guess having off next Monday is nice thing to look forward to. We unfortunately now have school on Friday because of Sandy.
Michelle- Woo on the SUV! What kind is it?
It's a 2007 Subaru Tribeca. I'm in love!! Much more room compared to my car and a lot more features. I had the basic model for the cobalt so having all these extra features is amazing.
I wish we had a day off soon. We don't get next Monday even though most of the public schools do. We might get snow tomorrow. They are saying it'll be rain/sleet/snow. With how warm it's been I'm thinking it'll be rain and sleet. Maybe they'll still give us a snow day?
hmmmm favorite thing about this past week....probably Friday. T drove me to work in the morning since it snowed so bad. But, by the time he picked me up, the sun was out and the roads were clear. We went out to lunch then came home and just spent the entire night together. (His work have been asking people to take a day off a week due to lack of work. He's worked the past three or four Fridays and it was time for him to take a day off.) It was really nice.
...looking forward too....probably just Wednesday and Thursday because those are my days off. No big plans...just catch up on some laundry and organize our hallway closet. I always feel accomplished = )
