Children's Museum

So we are visiting family in VA and my Uncle wanted to go do something fun with Ava Nichol. Him and his wife suggested the Children's Museum and I thought sure but Ava Nichol is too young to really get it. Honestly though she loved it and they really enjoyed being there to see her experience new things.

My FFC regarding this...I had to keep myself from being a complete germaphobe and not letting her touch anything. I let her have fun but there were just some things I couldn't let her do. I gagged when a little girl stuck her face in one of those pin things with her mouth wide open.

Re: Children's Museum

  • I'm glad that she loved it, but I would have been utterly grossed out by the germy stuff, too.
  • Was this the one in MD (National Harbor). I live close by and considered getting a family membership for C's birthday.  How was it?  Crowded?  Clean (as clean as a place designed for hundreds of kids can be)?
