Valentine's gift for hubby??

I want to get him or make him something, just cute and simple...  We're not going to spend like a bunch of $$ on this, but I would like to get him something..  Its our 1st year married, and I just wnated to be cute, corney, maybe even sexy about it...   He's cooking for us Thursday night, so that will be fun to see...  :)  What do guys like?

Re: Valentine's gift for hubby??

  • My H has asked for me to make his lunch for him that day (I make a mean sandwich).  He's also requested a BJ. lol

This is our first Valentines Day as a married couple also, but we want to do something for each other instead of spending money on things.

I may spice it up a little and wear the lingerie from our wedding night.

    Just a few ideas.

  • We are also cooking dinner instead of going out. I'm going to get him some candy some of his personal favorites and a card. In the card I'm going to put a "voucher" for a free back rub. I'm also whipping out the lingerie from our honeymoon.

Well, sex is a given, that's a gift for myself as well....  :)

That's a great idea! I may have to steal that one- especially since DH passed out before he got to see it on our wedding day! lol

  • DH always works crazy hours on Valentine's Day because it happens to fall around Fashion Week, which is the busiest time for his company, so we don't usually do anything. But I usually have some baked goods and a card waiting for him when he gets home. This year I made him a cute card, and got him these Star Wars Death Star ice cube trays he's been wanting, as well as a new sex toy ;)
  • Something sexy is probably always a good idea...

How about make him a nice lunch with a note, even if it's just a sandwich and the note can talk about how excited you are for your date later or whatever...

I'm probably going to just get mine M&Ms like I usually do and pack him a lunch and cook dinner later... hopefully he doesn't go overboard or I'm going to feel bad.

  • I've gotten my H chocolate every year, and since  I'M the one who ends up eating it, this year I plan on getting him his favorite bottle of bourbon and maybe some cliff bars in place of candy. My H could careless about v-day, but since we're both foodies, it's an excuse to spend a little more money at a nice restaurant, so we're both excited for our saturday night reservation. I also told him I expect extravagant gifts and flowers waiting for me when I get home from work Thursday, his response "I have soccer Thursday night" Indifferent
  • I saw this cute idea on Pinterest that I wanted to try!
