Best part of your week: Visiting family here in VA specifically going to the children's museum and getting cousins pictures with Ava Nichol and my 4 month old nephew.
Worst part of week: Being away from DH for a week and hearing Ava Nichol cry for Daddy but knowing he was across the country.
Milestones: Ava Nichol took her first steps on the 7th! She is still pretty hesitant but she has started standing a lot more and has gotten a lot more stable. Also she has never been around stairs and we are staying in a two story house. She crawled right over to the stairs, pulled herself up and crawled all the way to the top. She has no idea how to go down though.
Favorite thing to do with LO: I love seeing her experience new things like a parade or museum but honestly I just love making her laugh...we do this new thing where she puts her lips together and I run my finger up and down and she goes blblblblblblbl and it is hilarious for me and her!

When is your EDD? April 9th
How are you feeling? Huge! A little uncomfortable but I'm still doing the things that I normally do
What are you craving? Nothing
What is grossing you out? Nothing
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? A bunch of things my MIL ordered for us came in yesterday so I've been sorting through that and putting it away. I also bought some swaddle blankets, socks, and bath stuff for her over the weekend.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Appointment yesterday with a surprise ultrasound. Belly was measuring ahead after being on track the whole time but when they did the ultrasound they determined that she's about spot on.
Have you / will you found out the sex? Officially girl with no second guessing
Any names picked out? McKenna Lynn
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Nursery is coming along better, it's still messy with stuff everywhere but I'll work on getting some photos together.
After the baby is here, what scares you most about parenting? I'm scared of completely screwing her up and my marriage falling apart as we try and raise her. I have a really good life right now and we are bringing this baby into it, I just don't want to mess it all up.

How are you feeling? Good! Big. I feel like my belly grew a lot the last week.

I'm sorry! Those feelings are the worst. Just eat what you can and sleep as much as you can. Hopefully, it will get better in a few weeks!

After the baby is here, what scares you most about parenting? Everything. I'm scared that H and I will have fundamental disagreements on how to raise a child. We were raised so differently, and I liked the way I was raised more, and he likes some aspects of the way he was raised more. I also worry about having an infant. They're so frail.

Any names picked out? Still have long lists. Our top three girl names right now are Juliet, Iris, and Matilda (DD #1 is Delilah Grace). Top boy names are Zachary and Ezekiel (NN Zeke).
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We will keep the nursery painted the same as we have it now (green above the chair rail, and a different shade of green and taupe vertical stripes underneath the chair rail). I plan on adding new artwork and we just got this bedding.

After the baby is here, what scares you most about parenting? I'm afraid this baby's personality and behavior is going to be way different than our first's and we're going to have to learn things all over again and also the thought of having a newborn and toddler just scares the daylights out of me some days.

When is your EDD? September 25th will know exact date in a few weeks
How are you feeling? I have my good days and my bad days. Yesterday after I had breakfast I felt horrible and sick until about noon and then felt fine and then same thing after dinner I felt sick so I just went too bed. Today *knock on wood* I feel better. Fatigue gets me in the afternoon after lunchtime and my boobs hurt....
What are you craving? Nothing right now. I'm still loving sweets and chocolate and I was wanting chicken patties last night so I may go buy some tonight if I still want them.
What is grossing you out? Chewing chicken...and salad....makes me sick
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? My sister bought me a blanket some toys and a book for the baby. She's super excited and isn't going to have kids of her own so she wants to be really involved and spoil this baby

the big smile i get every morning when i roll over to see J. i only have a few more days of this left before we move him so i'm really soaking it in.
Worst part of your week?
he was screaming unconsolable yesterday evening. DH was home from work but went out for a run. i was trying to get dinner ready. he didn't want to be put down. he didn't want any of his toys. he didn't want to be held. he didn't want ANYTHING. DH walked in and was all "you can hear him screaming from outside." i shot him a death look. i was exhausted and wanted to run far away and sleep for a billion hours. and it was only monday.
Milestones?
he's been putting himself to sleep for naps lately. he whines a little bit but goes to sleep. such a big boy.
What's your favorite thing to do with your LO?

I don't have any pics, but I will share some once things start coming together. We are using things that H saved from his childhood for decor, as well as some of my sports memorabilia. He's got framed posters of Joe Montana and Tony Dorsett that we'll hang on the wall above the crib. He's also got a few old-school pennants and a little football shadowbox thing. We have a little collection of mini helmets, and some Texas Rangers stuff. I have a few UT Longhorn collectible things as well.
The room is a robin's egg blue. We are using these curtains, and this will be the color scheme for the rest of the linens:
The top two names are Liam (MN TBD) and J.D. (short for Jerome Douglas, our dads' first names. I like using family names, and the reason for choosing Liam is that we both have grandfathers named William, but I've discussed on here before my reluctance to name my kid Will Smith! Liam is the Irish form, and H's family is Irish, so we like it for those reasons. The problem with Liam is that it is super popular which I worry about especially with a super popular last name. I like J.D., but Jerome Douglas is kinda rough.
OMG, I love the room idea! and that you are using collectibles that you and your H already have! Seriously can't wait to see pictures.
I like both of the names you have picked. I do like Liam, but it is really popular. J.D. sounds like a sports star!
