help-looking for a cheaper version?

I got a sample of the Laura Mercier Face Polish and I love love love how smooth it makes my skin and how much better my makeup goes on with using it. I just cant justify spending $30 on one face wash with our budget and new baby coming...does anyone know of a similar product or have a product you love that has a similar effect? I like that it seems to be pretty gentle but also really gets off that top dead layer of skin and smoothes things out. TIA!

Personally, I swear by Dermologica's Daily Microfoliant. It is a rice bran exfoliant that lightly buffs away dead skin. A giant bottle is labeled as around 2 oz and goes for about $50. I have had the same bottle for almost 2 years and i still have more to go- I use it about every other day a I still have a little left. Seems pricey initially but it goes a long way, and is well worth it.

You may think $30 is much, but I found generally with cheaper drugstore brands I have to use a lot more of the product to get the same effect. I have used LM one and it's great, I use something very similar from Dior, and one tube lasts me a year. BTW, you are not supposed to use an exfoliant like that everyday.

Try searching for it on www.amazon.com! They had a cheaper version of everything. I wanted this phone case that was 25 dollars and I found it on amazon for 5!
