V-day plans?
Anyone doing anything special?
We usually don't do much, but H told me he had reservations for tomorrow night (he works Thursday). He is so bad with secrets and planning it surprised me. He called me at work today, he couldn't hold it in anymore... he's taking me to a wine pairing bistro! It's really cute because H doesn't like wine, so this really is all for me haha. I just looked at the menu, and I really hope they give us the v-day menu a day ahead since it's less overwhelming. I'm really excited!
I got him a Superbowl Raven's hoodie.
Re: V-day plans?
We don't celebrate Valentine's Day, because when we were first dating, we both worked in restaurants. We celebrate Pitchers & Catcher Report Day.
We totally embrace the baseball nerd.
DH's coworkers always find it hilarious that it was my idea to do this instead of VD. I just never liked the holiday anyway.
He got me a card this year & tore out the sweet, "I love you wife" stuff & wrote something about baseball season in it. It's kind of a tradition with us now.
Have fun with your plans, everyone. I do admit to getting a bit jealous when I see all the fantastic dinners people have.

We aren't doing anything. This week has already been crazy. Adding a celebration on Thursday would just be too much.
Mana- I'm totally jealous of your wine dinner! Where is it? Make sure you come back and tell us how it was!!
We are spending the day in Baltimore with Grant since his mom's flight gets in at 4 that day...this will be the 2nd of our 4 Valentine's Days together that we've seen the ex...although its better than our first VD when we all had lunch together (long story).
We usually make dinner at home...this year we're gonna have something quick since we'll be getting back after 6. I don't want to go out because we'll be eating out alot this week and we'll be on the road all weekend.
And we're not exchanging gifts this year (although we may do something small) since we're saving money for the baby and moving...and I just got my iPad, so I'm pretty much set!
Pairings Bistro in Bel Air, Md. I will definitely report back! I'm so excited. H even scrapped the rear from his old diesel to make this happen and so I wouldn't worry about the $$. He gets an A+ this year. (I think he's trying to make up for being gone last year).
I think one day you need to tell this story!
