What are your plans for Valentine's day?

We're going out to dinner at our favorite restaurant on Sat...DH is working til 9pm on Thurs and I'm busy on Fri.

I tried to think of a more creative idea, but just couldn't think of anything : /

Every year H makes me a 5 course dinner. He is such an amazing cook! Since Valentine's Day is in the middle of the week, and we are getting ready to leave for our honeymoon on Saturday, we actually had the dinner this past Sunday. It was amazing!

We usually don't do much, but H told me he had reservations for tomorrow night (he works Thursday). He is so bad with secrets and planning it surprised me. He called me at work today, he couldn't hold it in anymore... he's taking me to a wine pairing bistro! It's really cute because H doesn't like wine, so this really is all for me - I LOVE WINE. He even took his old rear from the diesel to the scrap yard to pay for it (and so I won't worry about $).  I'm really excited.

I'm off work this week, so I'll probably do something enjoyable during the day and make sure the dog is really tired by the time H gets home!    We are going to grab Italian at a nice restaurant, then I asked him to watch our wedding video (since I'll be taking it home w/ me in March to share with my grandpa & great grandma that couldn't travel for our wedding).  I wanted to watch it for the first time with him.  I'm really excited!!

H is cooking dinner and we are going to go see Beautiful Creatures.  I'm just over halfway through the book, and I super excited to see the movie. 

Holy cow I just realized H proposed to me a year ago tomorrow!  That was one fast year!!

We have our final walk-through/inspection for our new house that day! 9-3pm. We'll probably have a nice dinner afterwards but nothing too extravagant since we're saving money for house stuff and then I work at 7am the next day. So excited for our house!

Celebrating Friday. We make dinner together and watch a movie. Nothing big. 

Thursday we're both home though too, but I fall asleep when I watch movies on weeknights.

Thursday will instead probably be for finishing S2 of Downton Abbey. I've just started watching. I'm obsessed!

We arent doing anything. We actually dont celebrate it.

I think H has something planned, but I'm not sure.  It's my favorite holiday, has been as long as I can remember, so he plays into my nonsense and makes a big deal for me.

 Besides getting him a card, I haven't bought anything for H yet.  I have no idea what to get him...

As far as I know we have nothing planned. I have placement Thursday from 3-9pm. We don't actually celebrate it beyond getting cards.
